Parish Council has been given the privilege of presenting “The Christmas Story” to you. This 1 hour and 45-minute movie, produced by The Chosen, will be screened on December 19^th and 20^th at 7:00 PM. The entry fee is a dozen purchased or homemade cookies per household which will be served with hot chocolate. Please sign up on the sheet in the narthex so that we know how many people are attending each evening. For more information, speak to Deacon Carol, Mary M or Kathy M.

To be included in the 2025 tax year, cash donations must be received by December 31; e-transfers must be made by December 31; cheques must be dated December 31 or prior. The furnace fundraising is ongoing, so we are pleased to receive donations in 2026 as well as 2025.

Gloria's last day in the office before Christmas is Monday, December 22. She returns on January 5. 

Occasionally the front door does not latch properly, so please ensure that it is fully closed when leaving through it. If it doesn't latch, come back into the vestibule and press the panic bar fully on the middle, then exit again. 

There will be no Holy Communion service at 9:30 AM on December 24th or 31st.

Check out the board in the narthex for our fundraiser to replace our aging furnaces.

While all of last week's entrants in the Cookie Challenge were delicious, there was a winner which will be announced at coffee hour following the 10:00 AM service on Sunday. Thank you to everyone who participated.

Following the 10:00 AM service, we will gather for a potluck lunch. The theme is "Sharing Your Culture." Please bring a savoury or sweet dish that represents your cultural background or one that you enjoy. Everyone is welcome.

Parish Council is looking for pictures and videos of Holy Cross events and gatherings, including of ministry activities, clubs, fundraisers, and generally anything that represents your experience at or with our church. The images will be used for in-house videos, newsletters, and outreach. All images will be vetted for individual security by asking for permission for their use. We will not keep the images that any subject objects to them being made public. Please email Grant (Parish Council Member) at grantlos57@gmail.com if you have any pictures you would like to share.

The Quilters and Crafters are on hiatus until January.

We are aware that some members would love to attend services in person but are unable to because of lack of transportation. If you are in that position, we would like to offer you the chance to be driven to services by other parish members. Please contact the office and let Gloria know which service(s) you would like to attend, and we will try to arrange a driver for you. There is a sign-up sheet in the narthex for anyone willing to drive others to church.

Join us on Wednesdays at 9:30 AM for Holy Communion or at 6:30 PM for Evening Prayer. 

This short service of Evening Prayer consists of scripture, reflection, and prayers. Everyone is welcome.
