Healing Service

Healing Service

Wednesday, September 23 at 7:00pm

If you have never been to a healing service before, here is what you need to know. It is quiet, meditative service wherein we remind ourselves of God’s promise to be present in the midst of our struggles and illnesses. We celebrate Eucharist together, and afterwards the congregation is invited to receive personal prayers, the laying on of hands, and the anointing of oil. Sometimes people ask the question ‘is it just for people who are physically ill?’ The answer is no. A healing service is open for anyone who believes they may benefit from healing prayer. Whether you need God’s healing touch for something physical (an illness), something social (a relationship, an employment matter), something emotional (a sadness), or something spiritual (a doubt, a questioning) you are encouraged to come for prayer. God is able to meet you in each and any situation.
