Holy Cross was formed in  October 1997 from two founding congregations, St. Cyprian’s Calgary and Saint Michael and All Angels, Calgary. The combined history goes back to 1909 on Calgary’s North Hill.  stories of our pasts, and photos of the amalgamation.

In 2007, for our tenth anniversary, David Peyto wrote a book about our histories. A copy can be found in the Holy Cross Library. Detailed information is here.

Elizabeth Hilton wrote a book about the history of St. Michael & All Angels. A sample of the book, which will be available on Lulu, is here.
