Suggestion Box

From the Suggestion Box...

“OFFICE SPACE NEEDS ADDED SOUNDPROOFING. I.E., SECRETARY AND RECTOR SPACE – TO ENSURE CONFIDENTIALITY”

Thank you for bringing up the concern over privacy and confidentiality. Currently, the plans indicate that that the photocopier room is between the Sandi’s and Kyle’s office ensuring an extra level of privacy in those two spaces. In addition, the construction of the walls will be done to minimize sound transfer between spaces. While we are not ‘soundproofing’ those two rooms, the addition is designed to maximize the privacy of the offices, while still allowing those offices to be easily accessible.

“PLEASE DO PUT A ‘HIGH’ TOILET IN THE HANDICAP STALL. BARS ARE NECESSARY ALSO, BUT GETTING DOWN TO A LOWER TOILET IS VERY DIFFICULT, AND AT TIMES PAINFUL FOR FOLKS WITH HIP OR KNEE PROBLEMS.”

Thanks for the suggestion. We will look at the regulations involved for accessible washrooms to see what height of toilet is mentioned. Accessible washrooms usually make provision for higher toilets as part of their regulations. We will definitely take a look at this.

“WASHROOM RENOVATION”

Currently we are planning to update our current washrooms. This will involve updating the fixtures, sinks, toilets, paint, floors and partitions. The end result of our updates will make these washrooms more amenable to use.

“MAKING FORMAL DECISIONS AND COMPLETING THIS PROJECT IS AS IMPORTANT AS PLANING. LET’S GET THIS DONE, AND GET ON TO GOD’S WORK”

Thanks for the your support, and for reminding us that the end result of this is not just a project completed, but being able to continue in the work that God has for us. Please continue to pray in each step of this process.
