The Ladies' Guild is a group of women who hold special events mainly to raise money for one-time projects within the Holy Cross parish, often related to extraordinary church property upkeep or supporting special projects of the Children's Ministry. A special outreach of the Guild is to provide for receptions for funerals and memorial services held in the church, free of charge for the bereaved families (although donations are gladly accepted). Sometimes people ask what the difference is between the ACW and the Guild! The main difference is in focus: ACW focuses mainly outside the parish on outreach, and the Guild inside the parish. Everyone is welcome to participate in either, and in fact many women participate in both groups.
